About Alex
Alex Curtis is a New York-based actor working across television, film and theatre. His screen credits include FBI, Law & Order, and Blue Bloods, where he portrayed characters standing up to authority — holding their ground under pressure.
MFA-trained and experienced in improvisation and standup comedy, Alex brings warmth and unexpected humor to contemporary roles. He is drawn to characters who appear stable on the surface, but reveal vulnerability as the story unfolds.
As a creator, he wrote, directed, and starred in the award-winning short film Dress to Impress, and developed CHALK, a one-man physical comedy that toured the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His original work highlights his ability to blend playfulness with emotional truth — grounding even heightened storytelling in specificity and heart.
