Alex is working with film students at the School of Visual Arts on a scene from Blood Simple – the Coen Brothers’ first feature film.
Alex plays Ray (played in the film by John Getz). Ray is having an affair with his boss’ wife, Abby (Frances McDormand).
In this scene, Ray goes to the bar where he works to collect his pay, but instead has a confrontation with his boss, Marty (Dan Hedaya), then quits his job.
