I was called back by Theatre East for a leading role in their upcoming production of Canaan Unremembered – a new play by writer/director Judson Jones!
Canaan Unremembered is a poignant exploration of the deeply personal and often tumultuous journey of faith. The story follows a young evangelical couple grappling with profound loss after a difficult pregnancy. Their lives are further upended when Jenn, the wife, suffers a stroke that not only erases all memory of her relationship with her husband but also wipes away the faith she has spent her life depending upon.
I’m called back for the role of MATT, Jenn’s husband and devoted Christian, who must examine himself, his faith, and his marriage after his wife’s stroke is turns everything he had known upside down.
Canaan Unremembered is a World Premiere Play. The play received a full workshop at Powerhouse at Vassar College Summer 2023.
